OUR FIRST AWARD

Blu Loo Loo here!!!! WooHoo..... We won the "Cool Dog Site of The Day Award" for 2009. You can read about it on our last blog under the comments. My silly Hooman Mommy has tried to copy and paste several times to no avail.... Too bad because it is a really pretty award!!!

Bet you been wondering what's going
on at the Tenkiller Kennel. Well, first Mommy took a trip to Tucson, AZ. Yep, she came home with pictures of our new Hooman
Grandbaby named Jonah. We can't wait to get our tongues on him.
Heheheehe..... You know how that just drives new pawrents nutso!!!! Here is a really cute picture of him.

Mommy then took a trip to what she calls the "top of the mountain." Just what is that anyways??? She took Toby up to a "baby-making meeting" whatever that is!! Toby is Greta's
grand-daughter. She is sooooo pretty!!! And here is a picture of Mr. Handsome himself....

And then she came home with a baby puppy!!!! Good grief!!! She told all of us that he is going to be our new stud muffin. I'm not quite sure what that is, but it must be good. His n
ame is "Waylon." Holly thinks it is her baby now!!! She is
one of the Auntie's to this little guy. Well, I guess that's all from here.... NO WAIT!!! Did I happen to mention that Mommy fell down ONE step and broke her left foot?? Yep, that's right!!! You should see how funny she looks.... awwwh there are NO pictures of this one.... she refuses to let you see.... Heheheehe..... just call her chicken!

Calvin's Visit

Good morning to all of you.  Today I want to share about Calvin and his visit to the Tenkiller Kennel.  Calvin is one of my son's that now lives in San Diego, CA  wherever that is!!??  His Hoomans took a vacation in the intersting state of NM.... Mommy says that's where we live.... Anyway, we boarded Calvin while they were vacationing....  NOTE how we all have to get in line for Mommy's love, attention, and lap!!!  Mommy says it's a lot like the "Snoopy" story where Snoopy went back to the kennel he was born at for a visit!  Mommy was giggling about Calvin's new pawrents.  When they first came to get Calvin.... well they showed-up in a small, cute, sporty car!!!  WOW is what Mommy thought to herself.... I know because I can read my Mommy's MIND!!!  Especially when she is mad at me.... teehee.  She wondered how long that was going to last.  Well, now Calvin has his very own SUV.  I know it's Calvins because he has his very own license plate that says Kalzkr..... too funny!!!!

We had the best visit.  I thought that I'd show you a few pictures of how big my son is..... AND he thinks that he is a lap dog..... He is even doing the "Snoopy" pose!!!

Well its time for my "noonish" nap.  Bark at all of you again soon.

EMMETT AND DIXIE COME FOR A VISIT!!!

Good morning everyone!!!  Apache here.  Sorry about the NO POSTING for sooooo long.  I won't even begin to detail the "tales" of the ongoing saga of the Tenkiller Airedales.  Instead, I thought that I'd begin to daily share with all of you about some of our most recent Airedalian Visitations.  Today I'd like to start with a couple of my children.... yep, that would be Emmett and Dixie.  Their Hooman Mommy Sue brought them for a quick visit a couple of weeks ago.  Look how cute they are!!!  Emmett (Blue Collar) is one of my sons from my 2007 Litter.  His daddy was a real cutie named Black Magic.  Emmett is such a big boy.  Dixie (Red Collar) is one of my girls from my 2008 litter.  Her daddy is Yalo, of course!!!!!
This is a cute picture of Sue and Robin.  They are busy discussing how cute the Black Dales .... ummm, my babies are.   The REAL MOMMY (Me Apache) .... well, I'm on the other side of the door.... My kids smell and hear me and are waiting to be let in!!!!  What's taking them so long to open the door????
Now here is a funny story.  Yesterday my Hooman Mommy, Aunt Judi, and Sister Robin were up in Silver City (about 58 miles north of Deming).  They were celebrating Sister Robin's Birthday.  They were driving down the Highway passing Mis Amigos Pet Care Center and saw two black dogs out playing in the DOG yard.  Mommy yelled "it's Emmett and Dixie," and Aunt Judi immediately pulled over and headed back to see the kids.  So there they were.... Mommy, Aunt Judi, and Sister at the fence playing with Emmett and Dixie when this lady came running up behind them yelling, " hey!  What are you doing with my dogs?"  It was Sue ... Emmett and Dixie's mom!  Mommy turned around and said, "it's us Sue!"   I understand that there was a lot of hugging, giggling, barking, and laughing after that.

Is somebody out their giggling in dogland sing  that silly song.... something about a small world????

Slurps to all of ya.... more soon

THE DOG PARK!!!

Greetings to one and all!!!  Apache Tears here.  My Hooman Mommy has been very sick and I've had no one to type for me!!!  I would like to apologize for my "Hooman" mommy.  Things here at the Tenkiller Airedale Kennel have been up in the "air" since before Christmas.  Well, two months later we are finally getting back on track.... sort of like the train on the tracks.....  We are back.... and running.  Speaking of running, we have a new activity here at our Kennel.  Mommy and Aunt Judi are now taking all of us to the DOG PARK at least twice a week now.  Talk about fun!!!!  We took a lot of pictures a few days ago and I thought I would share a few with all of you.  Besides, I wanted to introduce to you..... Gretta's Babe Gucci.  I thought this was the best picture of her peeking around the tree at the park... she does look a lot like her mommy.

This next picture is of the "pack" with the babes..... look how big they are gett
ing!!!  We now have only 3 males (black/tan) left.  That would be Baxter, Axel, and Reggie.  We also have one female (black/tan) left, Brooks.

Here is a picture of me running in the wind.  I think I look pretty darn cute here!!!!!  In the next few days I'll try to up-date all of you on what is going on around here.  I sure have missed all of you.   Let us hear from all of you!!!  How are things going with all of you out there is dogdom??

The Dog Room

Good Afternoon everyone!  Blu Loo Loo here.  I've been studying out our situation around here and thought maybe today I should share with all of you about our Dog Room!  Yep, that's right we now have a completed Dog Room.  We have a new tiled floor, the walls are finished and painted, and the ceiling is finished.  We now even have a NEW ROOF on the room!!!!

Aunt Judi decided that she was going to decorate the room.  Debbi Griffin (that would be Roy Boy, Cracker Jack, and Miz Lola Dale's Human Mommy) sent us a lot of pretty Airedale pictures.  Aunt Judi went out and bought a "bajillion" picture frames and went to work!!!!

We certainly have a lot of projects going on around here.  And PLEASE let's not forget..... we still have a lot of puppies to sell!!!  Mommy says that one of our projects during the HOLIDAYS is to update pictures on our website..... whew!!!!!   On that thought.... I'm off for my afternoon nappy.

Until next time, Aireslaps to all!!!

FUR AND BONE

Hello everyone.... Blu Loo Loo here -  reporting.  Whew!!!!  We sure have had a busy week or two.  First, let me update you on the stupid Big Red Guy.  He is fine.  Mommy says he is "Fur and Bone." Well, whats left of his fur!!!   Mommy says his fur will grow back.... poor guy!   He has lost sooooo much weight.  He had his second surgery and came through fine.  Apparently the knuckle-head swallowed not one but two knots on the dog rope!  The first one made it all the way into the big intestine and got stuck!!!  The second one was stuck in the small intestine.   We finally had to use the ultrasound machine to "pin-point" the second knot in surgery.  Can I just tell you that there has been some kind of miracle around here.  Would you believe that he did not, and let me repeat that, DID NOT lose even an inch of intestine.  As most of you know, my Mommy is a Minister!  She has been doing a lot of that "pawing" on her knees thing (no cookies included).  I heard her tell the big "G" that if Yalo pulled through.... well, she would give him the CREDIT to any and everyone.  Well......... she is keeping her word for sure.  Sure have heard a lot of Praise God's around here to anyone that will listen.... Here are a couple of pictures of him recuperating on the bed!  Two of them are with little Miz Lucy!  Isn't she cute!?  She lost all of her litter-mates in ONE DAY!!!  Naturally, she moved back into the house with Baby Gucci.

On Saturday we sold Ginger and Sirius!  The new owners that bought Sirius drove all the way to Deming, NM from Phoenix, AZ to pick him up.  When they got here..... well, I guess the pictures speak for themselves.  After much fawning over the puppies they walked out the door with Sirius AND Ginger.  We understand that their forever home and pawrents have given them the new names of Bart and Maggy.  Too cute is what Mommy says!!!!!

Then a couple hours later Jasper's new "pawrents" came for him.  He lives over in El Paso, TX.  We heard that he is having potty problems..... What do these people expect out of babies of 9 weeks anyway!!??  I mean yeah, we are Airedales, we are super smart, but as babies.... well, can you say baby bladder????

Well, I have more things to tell all of you, but hey..... it's SUNDAY and I do need my rest.  More later.

Duncan

Good afternoon everyone..... Blu Loo Loo here reporting.  We've had soooo much going on here as of late.  I think that today I'll just talk about Duncan.  Humans..... they are so very weird!!!  First the little guy's name was "Mission" because Mommy was on a mission to find him a home.  He got a home and they renamed him "Brique" which means Hunter.  Then the new family had some kind of "Pow-Wow" and renamed him "Duncan."  Now we hear that he may have another name change.  Good thing he is a good sport about all of this!!!!  I would bite someone.... heheheheeehe.

Duncan flew to a very cold place so we had to find him the right jacket for the trip.  Here are a couple of pictures to let you see what he was going through.  We finally settled on the Blue sweater.... thought it would be very warm.  We think Aunt Judi had just too much fun with the modeling of the jackets!!!!

We had to travel over to El Paso, TX to put him on the plane.  He did great.  You can see him charming Jose at the ticket counter.  Who may I ask can "resist" such a cute puppy????  Anyway, there were a lot of hugs, kisses, and tears..... but off he went.  This always makes my Mommy just a little NERVOUS!!!  The airlines always take such good care of our puppies when they fly.

Duncan had a very long day, but finally made it to Hartford, CT at midnight......burrrrrr!!!!  Good thing he had that jacket is all that I can say.  He had a waiting committee of 5 Humans on the other side waiting patiently for his arri
val.  Can I just say..... his new pawrents are so very excited about having Duncan in their family!!!  He now lives with 7 cats too!!!!!  I'm thinking that Duncan is already running the household.  His pawrents have promised to keep us updated about his progress.

Well, I guess I'll close here.  Tomorrow I'll write all about the big stupid RED GUY!!!  He is alive and well.  He had a second surgery and is doing much, much better.  Thank you for all of your prayers!!!

Until tomorrow.....
